Richmond County EMS Seeks ALS and BLS Providers

Richmond County Department of Emergency Services

Position: Emergency Medical Technician (BLS and ALS) is a full-time position that consists of approximately 10, twenty-four hour shifts per month working a set, rotating schedule.

Qualifications:

·       CPR for Healthcare Providers

·        Valid Driver’s License and EVOC class 2 or higher

·       AEMT, EMT-I or EMT-P (or enrolled in an Advanced Life Support course)

·       ACLS & PALS certification

·       Pro-Board Certified FF1

·       Haz-mat operations

·       Vehicle Extrication Operations

Salary Range (DOQ/DOE):

Current:                                          Jan 1, 2022:

EMT: $39,000 – $49,600+        EMT   $43k-$53k+

AEMT: $41,000 – $51,600+      AEMT $45k – $55k+

EMT-I: $43,000 – $53,600+     EMT-I $47k – $57k+

Paramedic: $45,000 – $55,600+     Paramedic $49k-$59k+

(Richmond County Board of Supervisors has approved an increase to the base salary for each position of $4k to be effective January 1, 2022)
