Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ conditions and provide appropriate emergency care, including basic life support.
- Utilize aseptic techniques while handling medical equipment and supplies.
- Operate emergency vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring timely arrival at the destination.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care during patient transfer.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of care provided.
- Perform heavy lifting as required when assisting patients or moving equipment.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with best practices in emergency medical services.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experiences:
- Ability to drive emergency vehicles under various conditions.
- Knowledge of durable medical equipment (DME) usage.
- Strong understanding of medication administration procedures.
- Capability for heavy lifting as part of patient care activities.
- Commitment to maintaining a high standard of patient care through continuous learning and skill development.
