Lynette has been in Emergency Medical Services for the past 20 plus years. Her love of helping others started at Manchester Volunteer Rescue Squad, where she is a Life Member. While with MVRS she held many positions including; EVOC and Field Trainer, Assistant Crew Leader, and Board Member at Large. Manchester Volunteer Rescue helped her build many lifelong friendships.
Lynette has a very diverse work background. She worked as a Fire/Rescue dispatcher on midnight shift for seven years with Chesterfield Emergency Communications. During her time with Chesterfield she crossed trained to work Animal Control, Police Service, Sheriff and Teletype. One of the most memorable moments was receiving a Certificate of Commendations for assisting with a Life Save. Upon leaving Chesterfield she moved to Highland County to work for the Sheriff as a 911 dispatcher. After moving back to Richmond, Lynette worked for a biotech firm as an executive assistant to the CEO.
She currently resides in Powhatan with her husband, Stephen, and her daughter. When not at work, she enjoys traveling, reading, spending time with family and friends and researching new locations for vacations. She loves meeting new people as well as working with old acquaintances in her position as Field Coordinator.
