Chesterfield Health District

Chesterfield County, Powhatan County, City of Colonial Heights

The Chesterfield Health District has received vaccine and have begun the process of vaccinating providers.

Chesterfield County

Chesterfield Fire and EMS, Forest View VRS, Manchester VRS, Bensley-Bermuda VRS, Ettrick Matoaca VRS – are self-vaccinating through Chesterfield Fire.  The process of vaccinating internally has begun.

Powhatan County

Powhatan Fire and EMS, Powhatan VRS – are in the process of vaccinating.  They are utilizing point of dispensing (POD) sites to distribute the vaccine.  Emails will be sent to agency members letting them know the dates PODS will be vaccinating.   Providers will be required to sign in to “Sign-Up-Genius” to set the POD appointment.   Because it is unknown when shipments of vaccine will arrive, causing short notice for a vaccine opportunity, it is recommended providers use “Sign-Up-Genius” to be placed on a waiting list for upcoming opportunities.  If you’re on the waiting list, you will be notified when the POD site is scheduled.  Powhatan providers can Click Here to access Sign-Up-Genius to register for a vaccine site or be placed on a waiting list.

City of Colonial Heights

Colonial Heights Fire and EMS – are also self-vaccinating.  The process of vaccinating internally has begun.

For all other providers, and non-affiliated EMS providers, Chesterfield will set up point of dispensing (POD) sites as needed.  You must call the Chesterfield Call-Center at (804) 318-8207.  Be prepared to give them your name, direct 24-hour phone number, email.  If you represent an organization, name of the fire/ems organization, facility address, point of contact, number of medical staff members, number of non-medical staff members.
