The 2024 Regional EMS Awards ceremony, held on December 19 at the ODEMSA Conference in Henrico, VA, celebrated exceptional contributions to emergency medical services. The event recognized individuals and organizations for their dedication, innovation, and leadership in EMS, marking the return to in-person celebrations since 2019. Winners are nominated for the Governor’s EMS Awards.
The updated CE requirements aim to streamline the recertification process and ensure EMS professionals stay current with the latest evidence-based practices. These changes reflect the evolving needs of the EMS community and emphasize lifelong learning.

Help us recognize the best in the region by nominating a colleague for a Regional EMS Award. Through May 1, you can submit your nomination for one or more colleagues for the chance to receive one of twelve ODEMSA Regional EMS Awards.
