CERT works with healthcare systems, emergency response agencies, and government partners that support both professional training and student clinical experience. These relationships provide access to real-world emergency care environments, including ambulance ride-alongs, Emergency Department clinical exposure, and supervised medical standby operations.

Skills Instructor (Contract, $25/hour)

Focuses on hands-on training and repetition, guiding students through core skills such as airway management, patient assessment, and splinting, among others.

Requirements:
Certified EMT in the state of Virginia


Performance Instructor (W2, $30 to $35 per hour, experience-based)

Leads realistic, scenario-based training to develop critical thinking and decision-making under pressure. Responsibilities include creating and implementing scenarios, evaluating performance, and supporting course delivery.

Requirements:
Certified EMT in the state of Virginia plus a minimum of 3 years of EMS experience
