The Air Medical Committee is comprised of representatives of the air medical agencies in the ODEMSA Region and representatives of the prehospital agencies and hospitals they serve. Emergency department physicians and nurses are also represented.
The Air Medical Committee’s objective is to bring together elements of the Central Virginia EMS System to help provide the ODEMSA region with excellent emergency care through the use of rotor-wing and fixed-wing aircraft and trained crews in transporting patients to centers of definitive emergency care.
